Dr. Luna is a highly accomplished dentist who became the youngest recipient of the Fellowship Award in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is recognized as one of “America’s Top Dentists” by the Consumer’s Research Council of America and was named one of the Leading Health Professionals of the World by the International Biographical Center in 2005. He has also been honored by the US Local Business Association as the Best of Birmingham every year since 2008 and was named the Most Caring Dentist by Birmingham residents and BMetro Magazine in 2014.
Dr. Luna completed post-graduate training at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, known for its expertise in cosmetic and advanced dentistry. He personally developed the David F. Greer Mentor Program for junior and senior students at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. His work has been featured in MAC Magazine by Microdental Laboratory and in continuing education courses nationwide.
Dr. Luna has also had the privilege of serving the dental needs of CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, actors, athletes and local residents. He has also been interviewed multiple times by newspapers, television and radio on subjects ranging from cosmetic dentistry to TMJ, gum disease and treatments for headaches and sleep apnea.
